To say that 2012 was awesome would be an under-statement. I travelled all over, including out of the country to Jamaica for amazing weddings. Had experiences I never dreamed of having, all because of my career. I am extremely blessed! Because of all of these amazing experiences and amazing couples I got to meet and hang out with, I had a very hard time choosing which photos to blog. Do I blog more of the photojournalistic types of photos? Do I go for the artistic portraits? I ended up picking a mix of them. There are reasons I love both types of photos. I love every aspect of weddings. They are filled with such love and emotion and are presumably the happiest moment (or one of them) in people’s lives. I get to be there and photograph that. THAT is my job. To have a good time and photograph people in love. I can’t complain. So, I give you my favorites from 2012. These are not in any order and are randomly mixed up.
I am looking forward to another amazing year. 2013 is already all booked up, save for a couple weekends here and there. I am now booking for 2014. Bring on the new year!

Goodness, so many to choose from, I love the profile shot of the makeup artist putting lipgloss on the bride though, the bride’s eye is just so beautiful and intense.
So many great moments in here (it’s hard to believe these are all 2012 AM I RIGHT!?). I love all the laughter and tears–those photos are my favorite!

I was going to say my favorites were of the flower girls/ring bearers — they are probably some of my fvorite kid shots ever — but then I got to the bride and her grandmother and that one just gave me chills. Just spectacular image filled with emotion! LoveloveLOVE!
