Last weekend I traveled to Sioux City to shoot another gorgeous wedding. My last for 2010. It was a bittersweet feeling. On one hand, I am welcoming a small break because I have been beyond busy. This will give me a month or so to catch up on everything else and get ready for what is already looking to be an even busier 2011! On the other hand it is sad to see the 2010 season come to an end. It was an amazing year for me and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding to end it! Of course, this doesn’t mean I am done shooting for the year, I still have many portrait sessions to do! The weather had been predicted to rain and storm all day. I prayed, the bride prayed and we got what we prayed for, a beautiful day! Even the night before they said it would rain. To our surprise it didn’t but for 10 minutes late in the evening! We had an overcast day most of the day, which I will take!
I payed particular attention to getting detail shots of the church. This church is sadly going to be torn down soon to make way for more corn fields and it really is a shame. It’s beautiful! Their wedding will probably be it’s last. Although I won’t be posting all of them, I had the honor of capturing as many details as I could. I think just with the few that I am posting, you can see it’s beauty. The whole day was beautiful! Thank you both so much for the opportunity to be a part of your special day!
Great story, I love the quality of your work. And they look so happy 🙂
