2017 was another great year filled with emotion for me. I shot 31 weddings, including one in Mexico! Another in St. Louis and my own beautiful daughter was the flower girl! That puts me at over 240 weddings in my career. I love it!! All of my clients were spectacular to work with and I consider myself so lucky to have a profession that I get to spend time doing that I love to do. Capturing emotion, memories and being able to really showcase my artistic side. So, I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone I had the pleasure of working with in 2017. I am blessed to always have clients who trust me fully and are willing to do whatever sounds crazy at the moment, because of a vision I have. I spent a lot of time in 2017 climbing into creeks, rivers, lakes and fields with people and it was always for the perfect shot! Another nice thing about what I do is that most of my clients end up becoming friends. We stay friends on facebook and I get to watch their marriages and lives progress. It’s such a beautiful feeling! I also on a personal note want to thank all of my friends and family that support me and always show me how much you care.
2018 has some big things in store! A lot more travel! In 2 weeks I’ll be heading out to Jamaica for a wedding, which I’m super excited about. In June, I get to shoot an elopement in the mountaintops in Colorado (eeek!). Also, potentially one other tropical destination is in the works! Along with those are many more amazing weddings locally with some really awesome couples and I can’t wait to shoot them. It’s going to be another great year. Here’s to more awesome clients and many more great adventures!
