Iowa Wedding Photographer | Mary & Josh

The other day I posted a mini sneak peek of a beautiful snowy wedding I shot on Saturday.  This is the real sneak peek!  Mary & Josh had a quick engagement.  They wanted to be married and they didn’t care if that meant they had to plan fast.  They are care-free  and loving people and their wedding showed it.  Their wedding was a unique one as there was no dancing or even alcohol and yet it was packed.  People shared their loving stories about the two of them and still had a great time!  They even served yummy pies instead of cake.  Everything about this wedding was wonderful and homey.    Just like a giant holiday get together.

They even braved the snow and cold with me for some stunning portraits and I hope they fall as in love with them as I am!  Thank you Mary & Josh and everyone else involved in their day, I had a wonderful time peeking into your lives!

  • Winter wedding! Winter wedding! Winter wedding! Ahhh it’s something I will never get to experience, living in Texas (unless I’m invited to one up north)… I’m so jealous… I love all of the photos of the bride — partly because she’s gorgeous, and partly because of your talent 🙂 — and of course the snowy portraits. Sigh 🙂
