Saturday’s wedding I photographed was a very unique one. When a bunch of (AMAZING) vendors and myself heard from Sarah Urich that her friend Holly Morey-Genzen’s fiance Eric may not survive to make it to their wedding, we all jumped in to make sure they had a beautiful, special day, free of cost. Eric (groom) had been suffering from cancer and we are happy to say he is now in remission. So many vendors donated their time, money and services to making this special day happen for the happy couple so I am going to credit all of them down below. What a beautiful wedding it turned out to be! It felt so great to be a part of giving back for such a lovely couple and also to work with some of Des Moines’ BEST. <3

-The AMAZING new venue was donated, as well as bar proceeds to his medical fund by the lovely Carper Vineyard & Winery (brides, this new venue is a MUST, it’s huge, bright and beautiful! Can’t wait to shoot there when everything is in bloom!!)
