This week I had multiple engagements as well as a wedding, but I wanted to showcase one particular engagement.  I wanted to show that all it takes is to look at something with a different perspective and it can be beautiful.  Iowa has been rocked with constant flooding for the past 2 years, making all of my usual go-to engagement spots gone or changed.  As much as it saddens me to lose some favorite locations, it’s always exciting to use the changed landscape and make it into something beautiful.  That’s exactly what we did with Ashley & Mason’s shoot this week.  You just have to be willing to explore and have a little fun along with way!

Stay tuned for LOTs more engagements over the next few weeks, including a few out of town and as usual, more weddings!  I’m also excited to announce that I just booked a wedding in the beautiful Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic this January.  So there are lots of travels coming up over the next year and I can’t wait for all of the amazing images we will capture!
