Shooting the wedding of a military member is always so much more emotional for me. I am SO SO SO thankful for everything they do for us and our country, words cannot even describe. A couple weeks ago I shot the wedding of Rebekah and Derek. Derek is in the navy and currently away on active duty. He had only come home a few days before the wedding for a short leave to get married. So, it is not surprising that this wedding was one of the more emotional I have shot. Not only is it emotional, but military weddings always do such neat things like cutting the cake with the sword. They even walked through a sword tunnel after they got married. It was pretty amazing! Oh and the bride’s shoes. She MADE those! They were made with 1000’s of REAL swarovski crystals. They were amazing!

Absolutely stunning, both imagewise and couplewise.
If I could go back in time and have Rebekah help me plan my wedding, I would. This is stunning, the dress, the shoes, everything. But really, it’s the way they look at each other that makes me swoon! I really love how in every picture they’re incredibly romantic yet have a side of fun and laidbackness that is just a pleasure to see.
