Venue: Sanctuary Cap Cana resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Last week I had the pleasure of flying to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for Kasie & Calvin’s wedding.  Traveling for destination weddings, elopements or even engagements is one of my most favorite things to do.  I get a chance to see the world, create art and connect with new people while doing what I love most!   I get to do something different than my norm (I mean, it’s Iowa..love it, but it’s pretty plain).  Usually when people book me for destinations, if there’s time in the schedule I also throw in a free sunrise or sunset shoot on a different day.  That way we can spend time getting epic photos we may not normally have time for on the wedding day.  So, we did exactly that.   Their sunrise session at the Sanctuary Cap Cana resort consisted of 2 parts.  A dressy outfit and then a sexy swimsuit shoot.   It was beyond and I had such a blast with them!  I will be editing their amazing wedding next and even them I’m not done!  I get the honor of working with them next weekend for a part 3, here in snowy Iowa for their reception and more photos.  Stay tuned!
