Iowa & Destination Wedding Photographer | Best of 2023 Weddings

It’s finally that time of year that I sift through ALL the photos I shot throughout the year and try my best to condense them down into a best of post.  I always do one for weddings and another for engagements.  While I do shoot many other types of shoots throughout the year (you can see those on instagram and facebook!), I always reserve my blog for weddings!

2023 was another wonderful year.  I travelled to Punta Cana and Cabo for some beautiful tropical destination weddings, along with 39 Iowa and midwest weddings! I am entering my 16th year shooting weddings and it seems surreal.  I’ve watched families grow over the years and am fortunate that many continue to come to me for their maternity and family photos.  My love for photography and photographing love stories has not quelled.  If anything, it’s grown.  Every winter I encourage myself to keep learning, growing and set new goals for the upcoming season.  I am incredibly lucky to get to do what I LOVE doing as my career and so thankful for all of you that keep me going.

THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients.  Not only do you make me feel valued by loving my work, choosing your dates around me, and generously tipping or sending sweet gifts, thank you cards and reviews.  But, many of you also take the time to make sure that on your big day I am part of your day and feel welcome.  I walk away having new friends and thats important to me.  I am with you your entire day and it’s an honor that you all make me feel like an essential part of your day.  So, again, THANK YOU with my whole heart.

2024 is looking to be another full and wonderful year with some mountain travel adventure weddings mixed in.  Can’t wait to share the beauty and love that is in store for this year.  Please continue to follow my daily sneak peeks or posts on instagram and facebook!  Your loves and comments on my posts mean a lot and help greatly!
