This past week has been a crazy one for me! My kids have been sick, especially my daughter. She was getting better, but today her fever came back to 103. 🙁 I had a boudoir session and a wedding in the mix! I think for my boudoir sessions I will create a locked gallery for those that want to see samples. But, I will gladly post the beautiful wedding! 🙂
This morning I woke up late and realized it when my daycare parent was knocking on my door. Our basement drain backed up AGAIN (we just spent buckoo bucks fixing it last week). Luckily, the plumber was great and fixed it for free! It was trash day today and since we woke up late my husband didn’t have time to take it out. So, I ran out real quick, forgetting that it iced this morning..oops. I really think this belongs on funniest home videos, if only someone had filmed it. Somehow, I fell face first onto my icy driveway. Who does that? My chin slammed on the pavement, I gashed my hand open and at the same time cut up the other side of that same arm. How, you ask? Well, the trash can fell on top of me too. All I can do is laugh about it! It was one of those things where you feel no pain and immediately jump up and look around to make sure no one saw it. Really, I am lucky that I wasn’t hurt worse apart from a small headache, scrapes and bruises. I just keep picturing what it must have looked like in my mind! Even though I had such a crappy start to my day, my good mood never swayed. I am blessed to have everything I have and still feel lucky to have a beautiful family and to be doing what I love! So, here is the sneak peak to the wedding this weekend. I still seriously cry at every one of them..:)
I really love that last shot Amanda. So sexy. Totally nailed that rim lighting.
Fun wedding shots Amanda. Really clean work here. I really like your detail shots too.
Hi Amanda, I just found you on facebook via Ryan Brenizer comments.
I quickly browsed thru your facebook profile and went to this site in order to see your work. Your photos are STUNNING! I love the processing of the images and the moments that were captured.
I definitely see and feel the emotions during the wedding. Those are the moments that I aim to capture each time that I pick up my Nikon.
Thank you so much for all the compliments Rafael, it means a lot to me! 🙂
Beautiful work Amanda. I fully understand how you’re reliving the intensity of the emotions of the day as you review your own images; the soul of the day really does come out in them. I’m sure Holly & Akil will feel likewise.
Lovely images Amanda…I just adore Christmas time weddings and you captured this one perfectly!!
Really nice set – love the ones of the couple in front of the window – nice work!
Awesome! I’m sure they’ll absolutely love them all!
The red on the dress makes for such beautiful contrast. My favorite is the last shot – great work with the lighting!
I love how crisp your images are! Great job, yet again!
Beautiful wedding Amanda! I really love the detail shots and your black and whites… They look really really happy !
Great job! love it
They are all so fabulous – I can’t even pick a favorite! Awesome work! Both the candids and the posed images are phenomenal! Those snow boots crack me up!
These are fab! I love the silhouettes! I had a dress that had similar red accents, and I love how they just contrast so well with the black of the suits and white of the dress. Beautifully captured!
The outdoor shots in the snow are beautiful! Great shots of the little ones too.
Loveeee these images! The picture of their feet made me laugh! Smart bride!!
Gorgeous last shot, what a way to end the post 🙂
And man, what a BRAVE bride to go out in the snow and cold without a cover up. I am so impressed, and the photos are worth it!
Oh I love her dress – that first shot is gorgeous!
these are absolutely beautiful images! i especially love the ones with the gorgeous bokeh 🙂
