Paige and Kody couldn’t have had a more perfect day for their wedding. It was probably lower 80’s, a slight breeze and NO humidity. I know because my hair didn’t end up curly like it usually does. That’s pretty rare for me! Kody is a marine and has served 2 tours Afganistan and Iraq. I really respect military members and when I can join in and be a part of one of their weddings, it means a lot to me. (check out their table set for 1, tear jerker!) We started the day at the church and then went downtown, then back to the church for the ceremony. After the ceremony we stopped at a beautiful field of wild flowers and hay. The reception was at the Tournament Club of Iowa. This is probably the prettiest golf course I’ve seen. It almost looks like we’re not in Iowa anymore! Paige and Kody, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day! It was beautiful!
