Where do I begin with how much we loved Amanda?! One of my best friends got married a few years ago and had Amanda as her photographer. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted Amanda as my photographer when I got married. After we got engaged, I immediately contacted Amanda and completely scheduled our date around her availability. And WOW - was it worth it!!! Leading up to our wedding, Amanda was so quick to respond to all of my questions as far as location and "what if's" concerning weather. On the day of the wedding, I could not have asked for a better photographer. She was so efficient with her shots, creative with her ideas, and patient with all the craziness of the day! Not only was she amazing at her job, she was also just SO enjoyable to be around! After our ceremony, we went on a location shoot and she got in the water AND climbed on top of a tall ramp to get some amazing shots of us! She was willing to do anything for an amazing and unique shot. It was also extremely windy that day, so when we got back to the reception venue, ready to make our entrance, my hair was a tangled disaster, and Amanda immediately dropped everything, found a curling iron, and CURLED MY HAIR without hesitation! I don't know what more I could have asked from her! Not only was our experience great, but our photos - WOW! She was so quick to get us a sneak peek, and then only a few days later we had access to our photos! The quality of our photos are incredible. We have gotten so many compliments, and I love them so much. They will be such a special keepsake to remember our wedding day. I truly believe that you could not find a better photographer if you tried! I highly recommend Amanda Basteen!

I COULD NEVER EVER DESCRIBE HOW AMAZING AMANDA WAS. I MEAN, HER CREDIBILITY AS AN AWARD-WINNING PHOTOGRAPHER AND THE IMAGES SHE TAKES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. SHE THINKS OF THINGS THAT I NEVER WOULD, AND ROLLS WITH ANY VISIONS THAT YOU HAVE. SHE MADE US FEEL EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE ACTING ALL LOVEY-DOVEY AND WAS PATIENT AND RELAXED THE ENTIRE TIME (WHICH, TRUST ME, I WAS STRESSED ENOUGH FOR THE BOTH OF US AND SHE ABSOLUTELY CALMED ME DOWN). HALF OF THE TIME, I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE SHE WAS THERE, UNTIL LATER, WHEN I SAW THESE AMAZING CANDIDS THAT WE'LL TREASURE FOR YEARS (AS CHEESE-BALL AS THAT SOUNDS). BUT IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH, SHE WENT BEYOND PROVIDING AMAZING PHOTOS, TYING TIES AND RUNNING AROUND THE PLACE TO HELP OUT. I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS EXPECTED THAT FROM HER. I WAS UUUUUUBER PICKY ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY EVEN THOUGH I WAS ON A PRETTY TIGHT BUDGET, AND I COULDN'T HAVE MADE A BETTER DECISION. I STILL HEAR ABOUT HOW AMAZING OUR PHOTOGRAPHS WERE, AND IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THE WEDDING. HELL, ONE DAY I WOKE UP TO A PHOTO AMANDA TOOK OF ME AND MY HUSBAND ON THE MAIN PAGE OF INSTAGRAM WITH LIKE 3000 LIKES AND COMMENTS. WHAT IS THAT? DO IT. YOU WILL NEVER EVER REGRET IT. I HAVE SUCH A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR THIS CHICK. SHE TOTALLY ROCKED IT OUT. ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!! AGH!

My wife and I had an AMAZING experience working with Amanda. For reference, we had 2 ceremonies and a reception on the same day, which included multiple outfit and venue changes. The two of us have very large families which means a lot of strong personalities to reign in. Amanda was always punctual, professional, efficient, and seriously nailed ALL of our photos. Before we left on our honeymoon a few days later, Amanda had already provided us with sneak peak photos of our wedding day, and shortly after returning, we had received our flash drive and download code to access all of our photos. We had an amazing experience working with Amanda and would absolutely recommend her to others

I've been in awe of Amanda's work ever since she took my niece's newborn photos. She is incredibly flexible, responsive and easy to work with. I flooded her with ideas for our elopement in Colorado, and she was always quick to give her professional thoughts and opinions. With Amanda, it doesn't feel like we just paid someone to take some photos. Her work is truly second to none! She turned our wedding day into a collection of memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Amanda and her work. She was absolutely incredible to work with, made my husband and I feel so comfortable and in doing so, she was able to capture some excellent photos of us! She captured all of the emotion from our big day and knew to look for things that nobody else would have ever noticed. Our photos are so unique to our relationship as well as unique to her style, making for some amazing works of art! She was incredibly patient and flexible with all of the chaos that is a wedding day and for making a rainy wedding day seem like the best-case scenario. She was so kind and had such a fast turn-around, I would hire her a thousand times over!!

Amanda is THE BEST when it comes to engagement and wedding photography! It wasn't until after we got our engagement photos back, and realized how wonderful they all were, and how much we liked working with Amanda, that we decided we HAD to have her shoot our destination wedding in Mexico. Although the pricing was more expensive due to a destination wedding, it was totally worth it! The pictures we got back were AMAZING! Amanda was great to work with throughout the entire process. Highly recommend her to anyone for any type of photography they are looking to have done, especially if its a destination location. We cannot thank her enough for all the memories we have because of her extraordinary talent.

Amanda was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. We have the most incredibly beautiful photos for both our engagement and our wedding day. She captured little moments with our families that I will treasure forever. She was fun, very easy-going, and easy to work with. Where do I begin? Before I was engaged, I always had an eye out for Amanda Basteen Photography. Her photos are not only beautiful, but they are romantic and natural. I kept thinking to myself "there is no way our pictures will ever turn out like these". Let me tell you- Amanda exceeded our expectations!! Like most, being behind a camera can be frightening. Not with Amanda. She instantly made us feel comfortable to be photographed and that is critical for authentic photos! She made it fun, took time to get to know us, along with being professional. Amanda is extremely responsive and so very easy to work with. Not even 18 hours after our engagement shoot, we had 15 sneak peek photos! We received all of our edited images two days after our shoot- TWO DAYS! And every single one blew our minds. I cannot wait to work with her again for all our photo needs in the future! I will forever recommend Amanda for professional photography! Trust me- you will not regret hiring her!

I don't even know where to begin, there aren't words to describe not only how flexible, fun and down to earth Amanda was for both our engagement photos and our wedding, but the magic she creates with her photos. Her photos are hands down the most amazing photos I've seen, and she blew us out of the water with our wedding photos. We loved having her with us every minute of our wedding day, and we had so much fun with her it felt like hanging out with a friend. I would not trust anyone else to photograph the most special day of my life, she was worth every single penny and then some. You seriously can't go wrong with Amanda Basteen, and she's proven that to us multiple times!
