Last weekend was a new experience for me. I got to photograph a wedding of one of my own family members. It was so much fun because I knew all of the guests (well, most anyway) and got to act like a guest while still being the photographer. Of course, it was a challenge as well because of that, but it was certainly worth it. I loved photographing Steph & Nathan’s wedding! It was located at Sticks and I must say the venue is awesomely unique. You can’t find a bad area for photos because all around the inside is covered in windows and outside are gorgeous huge trees (one of which they married under). It was all so beautiful and I am so glad I was able to help them capture their day! I am even in one of the photos! Watch for me!

Great job Amanda, you can feel the love in these photos! While I’m sure it was a challenge, I think it’s also an advantage when you’re close to the family!
I love the chalkboard details, and the moments and poses under the veil are perfect, using it just as a background texture. Great job.
