Des Moines Wedding Photographer – Katie & David are married!

I confess I have been a bad bad blogger.  I have seriously slacked off putting photos up on my blog and I am very sorry.  I have decided that is going to change.  No excuses!  Yes, I am still super busy with photography and life but I know I owe it to my readers to keep it fresh! And believe me, I have plenty to post!! Tonight we went to meet Austin’s preschool teachers and loved them.  My babies are growing up so fast!  Lilia just had her 2nd b-day party this weekend as well.  She acts more like a 16 year old .  I’m not sure how that happened.  Everything has to be done by herself!  It’s amazing and a little sad (because I want my baby!) at the same time.  She LOVES dancing and will be going into her first dance class in a few weeks.  I have Austin going into martial arts as well.  These will be Monday evenings, so I will not be able to do anything photography related on Monday evenings.  They are both so excited, as am I!  I will be sure to post photos!  Now onto this weekend’s wedding!

I had the honor of shooting Katie & David’s gorgeous wedding last weekend.  It was amazing, THEY were amazing.  The venue (Des Moines Temple for performing Arts) was gorgeous as were they.  When I shot their engagement session I knew their wedding would be fun.  All they do is laugh and act silly with each other, I seriously have to do nothing to get their love to shine.  They are so fun to work with!  Not only that, but they made me feel at home as part of their wedding day.  I even had my own place setting (which you will see below).  Everything was just amazing!  Katie looked stunningly beautiful and everything fell into place beautifully.  See for yourself!!
