I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa & Vernon’s wedding this last Saturday located at Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston. It was beautiful and so unique! I believe the groom sang 3 times (and did a great job!) as well as others singing. It was relaxed and just FUN! The colors were beautiful as well. Hot pink is my favorite color (can you tell?!). Everything was just amazing. Thank you Lisa & Vernon for letting me be a part of your beautiful day, it was a blast!

I have decided I am no longer going to be calling these sessions trash the dress because honestly, you don’t trash it. You just ROCK it! You take photos you wouldn’t on your wedding day. If you do go crazy and get in a lake, etc. 99% of the time you can dry clean it back to new! These sessions are so much fun!
I have been busy as usual. I actually was just in a wedding (my little brother’s!) for the first time. It was interesting being on the other side of things and quite fun! Ahhh I just love all parts of weddings. I honestly never tire of it!

I had the honor of shooting Courtney & Corey’s wedding this last weekend, located at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa. It was gorgeous. They couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding. Yes, it was hot, but you can’t even tell. The bride looked stunning regardless! The details were amazing as well. They did most of it themselves (aside from the florist). It was all just beautiful! Courtney & Corey, thank you again for letting me be a part of your amazing day!
