OK ok, so this post is quite a bit late.  I’m typing this at 11:53pm on Jan 31st, so at least it still counts as January, right?!  This post was seriously tough to make.  How do I choose favorites from pretty much all my sessions over the year that were not couples?  It wasn’t easy and there are so many more wonderful photos I want to share, but I have to limit it somewhere.  Thank you SO much to all of my AMAZING clients of 2011.  I had such a stellar year, it was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and I couldn’t have had that year without you all.  <3

I had the wonderfully unique opportunity to photograph a Chicago Cubs player (Luis Montanez) and his fiance Andrea last month.  They are having a baby any day now and loved my work enough to have me shoot their maternity session while I was in Chicago.  They wanted something personal to them, so we decided to do half of them on Wrigley field where they play.  It was so much fun!  I got to bring my husband along and he was in 7th heaven, being the baseball fanatic that he is.  We then moved to Lake Michigan for the rest.  It was just gorgeous.  The water was clear and blue just like the ocean.  Probably one of my most memorable maternity sessions ever!  Thanks Andrea & Luis, we had a great time and good luck with your new princess!

Also want to note that I’m aware I haven’t been posting on this blog.  I’ve just been way too busy, but I hope to catch up when things slow down a little!

So it’s been more like a couple weeks almost since I blogged this last, I’ve been super busy!  Here are some favs in the children category from the past 2 weeks!

After carefully picking through the many newborn and maternity sessions I’ve done this year, I have chosen my favorites.  This was no easy task as I love them all.  I tried to choose one from every session.  Tomorrow will be children/families and then it will be engagements and then weddings are last.  Although I am a wedding photographer, I also do just about everything else.  So feel free to give me a call for anything!   Here’s to another amazing year.  2010 has been such a great year and I owe it all to my clients and my family for supporting me while I’ve been so busy.  Thank you everyone!  I hope you love these posts!

Now that wedding season is over I can finally get around to posting all of the other amazing sessions from this year.  Trust me, they are all amazing!  Another one of the perks of being a photographer is creating long lasting relationships with clients.  A lot of them become great friends in addition to that, so I am blessed.  Christina is an example of that!  I first photographed her when she found me for her wedding and now have photographed her numerous times.  It’s so exciting to see her life changing and growing in such positive ways.  They are expecting a beautiful baby girl this month and I had the privilege of doing her maternity photos.  I can’t wait to photograph baby girl either!  Enjoy!
